For Activated carbon in water treatment, our clients generally choose GAC(granular activated carbon) and PAC(powdered activated carbon). For drinking water and pure water purification, coal based activated carbon and coconut activated carbon is prefered. But for waste water, especially industrial sewage with much COD and heavy metals, coal based activated carbon powder is the most efficient and effective. In the backwashing equipment, sometimes it will occur some small particles because of granular carbon strength, so some clients will choose activated carbon pellets.
